The Executive / Administrative Assistant will be a key team member providing critical support to the Advanced Power Chief Operating Officer and other staff in the Boston office on a daily basis.

As such, their primary responsibility will be working with and coordinating reservations, scheduling meetings and managing office calendars, manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls and other forms of correspondence, track and replace office supplies as needed, and assist in planning corporate activities and events.

They will assist the COO on business and personal matters as needed with travel, calendar management, time and expense management and duties both in and outside the office environment. These duties will include management of appointments, vendors, and agents, and managing and responding to email correspondences and calls, and creating and maintaining registrations, events, and appointment both in the home and office environment. The Executive / Administrative Assistant will mainly work out of Advanced Power’s Boston office location, however, there may be several times when they must travel amongst the Boston area to assist the COO in business and personal matters.

In addition, the selected candidate will perform other duties at the discretion of the Vice President, Business Operations and will have the opportunity to work across all departments and assist in all areas of administrative support including but not limited to developing and maintaining relationships with supply vendors and assuring office needs are met daily.


Bachelor's degree preferred with some experience in an administrative role. Additional requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with varying types of personalities while maintaining a high degree of professionalism
  • Quick learner with a proven ability to work independently as well as to perform effectively in a team oriented environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be a self-motivated team player
  • Excellent customer service skills
