IT Associate

The Opportunity:

The IT Associate will be a key team member in providing support to all staff throughout the organization and will act as back and support to the IT manager.

As such, he or she will have the opportunity to work across all departments and assist in all areas of IT support. The IT associate will be the first point of contact working directly with employees on day-to-day issues that include Office 365 and Active Directory integration and well as IT support for desktop issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems for PC’s.

In addition, the selected candidate will perform other duties at the discretion of the IT Manager.


Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-7 years’ Help Desk experience.   Additional requirements:

  • LAN/WAN configurations and troubleshooting
  • Expert understanding of Microsoft Server 2016/2019   
  • Experience with hybrid networks that extend on-prem networks to Azure/Azure Files/Azure Blob
  • Backup and Disaster recovery / VEEAM / Replication and GFS Rotation
  • Various virtualization environments (HyperX/ESX)
  • Passion for technology - today and future (cloud)
  • Skilled and experienced with remote network management
  • Able to prioritize in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Familiarity with current automation technologies (Lansweeper/PDQ)
  • Basic understanding of entry level scripting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Contribute ideas on how to continuously improve deployment of systems and processes
  • Address and resolve technical priorities relating to the installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems
  • IP addressing / Subnetting
  • Excellent customer service skills
