Advanced Power (AP) looks for trusted partners who have the same commitment to integrity and core values. Bechtel has proven to be a natural fit. Helping to nurture that partnership is Joe Feyder. Joe is Vice President, Development Director, Power at Bechtel Enterprises where he focuses on power generation projects.
Bechtel is a family-owned company that has been in business for 118 years. “Being a family-owned business with a reputation that is respected worldwide, Bechtel looks for partners that it is proud to collaborate with. AP has all of the qualities that Bechtel finds important; it values safety and ethics, integrity and honesty is uncompromised and its reputation is excellent. The team at AP has a great deal of experience and is great to work with,” Feyder said.
Joe believes that both Bechtel and AP are working hard to continue to build a strong partnership, and he sees how this partnership will create successful projects. “When a project is successful, it helps strengthen community relations and bring economic benefits,” says Feyder. “One of the things that attracted Bechtel to AP is its commitment to community. AP works through its projects to build strong relationships with its host communities.”
Building on the successful development of Carroll County Energy, Bechtel and AP are partnering again on additional projects currently in development. Together, Bechtel and AP are working to develop a 1,000 MW project to enter construction in 2016 and a similar project to enter construction next year.
